Konuyla ilgili açıklamalarda bulunan İlhan Cömert; “Bu birliktelik esnafımıza hayırlı olsun. Esnafımız bizi diğer seçimlerde biliyor. Biz, esnafımıza daha hizmet için geliyoruz. Biz mevcut yönetimin eksikleri olduğu için yola çıktık. Salih Başkanımızda bu eksikliği tamamlayacağını düşündüğümüz için odamızın seçimlerinde Salih Başkanımızın yanında yer alacağız. Rabbim utandırmasın bu çıktığımız yolda. Esnaflarımız için güzel projelerimiz var. Salih Başkanımın da güzel projeleri var bizde ekipçe projelere destek olacağız. Bu projeleri de hayata geçireceğiz. İlimizde yaşanan deprem ve pandemide esnaflarımız çok zarar gördü. Biz esnaflıktan gelmeyiz. Biz esnaf çocuğuyuz. İşlerimizin yüzde 60'ını kaybettik. Yapacağımız projelerle esnafımıza güzel hizmetler yapacağız. Bu birliktelik bizlere, esnaflarımıza hayırlı olsun”
