Meydan ve yeraltı otoparkı projesine start verildi

Elazığ’da 15 Temmuz Demokrasi Meydanı ve yeraltı otoparkı projesi kapsamında çalışmalar başladı.

Elazığ Belediye Başkanı Şahin Şerifoğulları’nın mega projeleri arasında yer aldığı belirtilen ‘15 Temmuz Demokrasi Meydanı Yeraltı Otoparkı ve Meydan Düzenleme Projesi’ hayata geçiriliyor. Elazığ Belediyesi’ne devredilen SGK eski binası ve 15 Temmuz Demokrasi Meydanı’nda hayata geçirilecek projeye ilişkin inşaat çalışmalarına bu kapsamda start verildi. Yüklenici firmaya yer teslimi yapılmasıyla inşaat çalışmaları başlayan projenin özellikle şehrin otopark ihtiyacına önemli ölçüde çözüm oluşturacağı, kent merkezinde bulunan alanında yeni bir düzene kavuşacağı aktarıldı. 1 yıl sonra tamamlanması hedeflenen proje kapsamında yıkımı gerçekleştirilen eski SGK binasının bulunduğu alanın toplam 7 bin metrekare kapalı alana sahip iki katlı 224 araç kapasiteli yeraltı otoparkı olacağı ifade edildi.

Yeraltı otoparkı olarak inşa edilecek eski SGK binasının bulunduğu alanın üst kısmın da 15 Temmuz Demokrasi Meydanı ve Kapalıçarşı ile bütünlük oluşturarak yeni bir yaşam alanı olarak düzenleneceği bildirildi.

Yeşil alanların ve ağaçların korunması için proje çalışması kapsamında alanda bulunan ağaçların standartlara uygun bir şekilde sökerek farklı noktalara taşındığı, zarar vermeden şehrin muhtelif alanlarında yer alan yeşil alan ve parklara tekrar dikimini yaptığı da belirtildi.

Work started within the scope of the 15 July Democracy Square and underground parking lot project in Elazig. The "July 15 Democracy Square Underground Car Park and Square Arrangement Project", which is stated to be among the mega projects of Elazig Mayor Şahin Şerifoğulları, is being implemented. Construction works for the project to be implemented in the SSI old building and the 15 July Democracy Square, which were transferred to Elazig Municipality, were initiated within this scope. It was stated that the construction works of the project, which started with the delivery of the site to the contractor company, will provide a significant solution to the parking lot need of the city, and it will achieve a new order in the area located in the city center. It was stated that the area where the old SSI building, which was demolished within the scope of the project, which is planned to be completed in 1 year, will be an underground car park with a total closed area of ​​7 thousand square meters and a capacity of 224 vehicles. It was reported that the upper part of the area where the old SSI building, which will be built as an underground car park, will be organized as a new living space by integrating with the 15 July Democracy Square and the Grand Bazaar. In order to protect the green areas and trees, it was stated that the trees in the area were removed and moved to different points in accordance with the standards, and they were replanted in green areas and parks in various areas of the city without damaging them.
