Korona virüs (Covid-19) tedbirleri kapsamında 4 gün sürecek olan sokağa çıkma kısıtlaması ile ülke genelinde olduğu gibi 2020 yılında 2 deprem yaşayan Elazığ’da da cadde ve sokaklar sessizliğe büründü.

Covid-19 tedbirleri kapsamında İçişleri Bakanlığı’nın yayımladığı genelge ile 4 Ocak 2021 Pazartesi günü sona erecek sokağa çıkma kısıtlaması başladı. Saat 21.00’da başlayan ve 4 gün sürecek olan kısıtlama kapsamında yılın başında 6.8 ve yılın sonunda 5.3 büyüklüğünde iki deprem yaşayan Elazığ’da da cadde ve sokaklar ilk saatten itibaren sessizliğe büründü.Vatandaşlar yeni yıla evlerinde girerken kentte zorunlu dışarı çıkması gerekenler dışında herkes karara uydu.

İl Emniyet Müdürlüğüne bağlı ekiplerde kentin birçok noktasında kontrol noktaları kurarak uygulama yapmaya başladı. Kontrollerde araçlar ve yayalar tek tek durdurularak sorgulandı.
